Today is Census Day!
The 2020 Census determines what the next decade will look like for Florida and for your local community. This includes funds for hospitals, schools, roads, housing, representation in government and much more. It is completely safe to complete the census and only takes a couple of minutes. These few minutes will impact our democracy for years to come.
Please go to mycensus2020.org and complete the questionnaire for every member of your household, regardless of their immigration status. You can fill it out online, or by calling the U.S. Census Bureau at 1-844-330-2020 to complete the questionnaire over the phone.
After you have completed it, spread the word and forward this email to your family and friends! Post encouraging messages on social media and remind your followers that a complete count is more important now than ever before.
Many of us are naturally feeling worried during this time of crisis but by completing the census today, we can do our part to ensure Florida has more resources to better recover from COVID19.
Take the census today. Our future depends on it!
